Horus Development & Consulting successfully conceptualised and delivered a series of bespoke promotional engagements for the Zagreb Tourist Board in Singapore, bringing together travel trade professionals, MICE specialists, premium travel planners, media and KOLs to explore the diverse appeal of Croatia’s capital.
Designed around three distinct audience groups, the programme combined destination presentations, industry insights, culinary experiences and creative storytelling to strengthen Zagreb’s visibility and engagement within the Singapore and wider Southeast Asian travel markets.

Connecting with the Travel Trade and MICE Community
The programme opened with a dedicated travel trade presentation at the Straits Room of The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, welcoming 50 travel professionals to discover Zagreb’s tourism offerings and business opportunities.
The afternoon continued with a specially curated panel discussion featuring three highly regarded MICE professionals from Singapore. The discussion provided valuable industry perspectives and practical insights into Zagreb’s potential as a destination for meetings, incentives and corporate events, facilitating meaningful exchanges between the Singaporean and Croatian partners.

An Evening with Singapore’s Premium Travel Planners
A dedicated evening engagement at Guccio brought together Singapore’s high-end and premium travel planners for a more intimate introduction to Zagreb.
Combining Italian savoir-faire with Croatian culinary influences, the dining experience featured Croatian wines and olive oils, alongside a special interpretation of kremšnita, a much-loved Croatian cream cake, recreated by Head Chef Marco Guccio.
The events were honoured by the presence of H.E. Nebojša Koharović and Honorary Consul Mr Logan Ravishankar, whose support and participation were greatly appreciated.

A Creative Discovery of Zagreb for Media and KOLs
A few days later, Horus organised a dedicated media and KOL sharing session, taking an experiential approach to introducing Zagreb’s cultural identity and distinctive stories.
Inspired by the city’s iconic Dolac Market, the team conceptualised a market-inspired centrepiece featuring signature Croatian products, local specialities and recognisable Zagreb landmarks.
The programme also featured an interactive destination discovery experience, dedicated presentations and a short panel discussion with three true Zagrebians, offering guests a more personal perspective of the city.
Adding another creative dimension was the introduction of the Heart Archive, an experiential concept inspired by Zagreb’s renowned Museum of Broken Relationships. The session also featured Choy, Horus’ Head of PR, presenting The Zagreb Edit: 7 Stories to Pitch from Zagreb, a curated selection of editorial angles designed to inspire media storytelling and coverage of the destination.
A Collaborative Effort
The series was made possible through the collaboration and support of Turkish Airlines, Esplanade Zagreb Hotel, Atlantis Travel and Rewind Croatia, whose participation contributed to the success of the engagements.
Through three distinct experiences, Horus demonstrated its approach to destination marketing: combining market insights with tailored strategies and creative execution to maximise destination visibility and connect with the right audiences across Asia.
By going beyond conventional destination presentations, the programme created meaningful opportunities for industry engagement, knowledge exchange and storytelling, bringing Zagreb a step closer to Singapore’s travel trade and media communities.
