Poised between sea and sky, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco is the main Congress Centre of the Principality of Monaco, hosting a hundred professional events per year: trade shows, product launches, conventions, conferences, gala dinners… The Grimaldi Forum is also an unparalleled venue providing a cultural program focused on three major themes: exhibitions, music and dance.
Every summer the Grimaldi Forum puts on a major thematic exhibition devoted to a leading arts movement, a heritage or civilisation topic that expresses the revitalisation of creation. The Grimaldi Forum Monaco works with the world’s greatest cultural institutions – museums, foundations, galleries – and has had the privilege of obtaining significant loans of important works of art.
A “GREEN” CONVENTION CENTRE
Since October 2008, this state-of-the-art building has held the ISO 14001:2015 environmental management certification, one of the first European congress and cultural centres to obtain so. Actively committed in the eco-responsible movement led by the Principality of Monaco under the leadership of its Sovereign Prince, the Grimaldi Forum practices “green innovations” such as using the sea water as a renewable energy source for air-conditioning cooling.
The Grimaldi Forum Monaco has been successful in the past few years in areas of selective sorting of waste and the reduced consumption of water and paper, even with increased activity every year. Dematerialisation procedures to reduce the reliance on printing and recording for example, is one of the lauded efforts by the convention centre.
A gorgeous yet sustainable events centre, it is no wonder that the world’s most significant and influential events choose to be held here, frequently putting Monaco under the spotlight.
