An architectural highlight – The Monaco Yacht Club Clubhouse

Snugged right under Monte-Carlo while overlooking the majestic Port Hercule, the Yacht Club de Monaco Clubhouse resembles a luxury liner docked on Quai Louis II. This Monegasque icon opened its doors in 2014 after 10 years of planning and construction by world-renowned architect, Lord Norman Foster, with his local collaborator, Alexandre Giraldi.

The Clubhouse is the hi-tech and free spirit symbol of Monaco, built with the highest sustainability standards. Photovoltaic cells, solar thermal panels, sea water cooling systems and LED low energy lighting… Its efficient, state-of-the-art systems helped the Clubhouse achieve ISO 14001 certification in June 2016, a management system giving the Club its eco-responsible organisation status.

The Clubhouse boasts 5,000 sqm of interior spaces and its 4,000 sqm outdoor terrace also makes the Clubhouse a luxurious and coveted event venue for meetings, dinners, incentive programmes and even salon-style fashion shows.
