Meet The Team

Benoit was born in Paris – France. Since the start of his career in Paris, 25 years ago, Benoit has accumulated a diversified experience in sales, marketing, public relation and event organization for the luxury tourism & hospitality sectors.

Aside from France and Monaco, Benoit has worked and lived in Japan, China and Singapore, acquiring an intricate understanding of the dynamics of Asia and becoming a recognized specialist in the luxury tourism promotion & marketing industry in Asia.

His European & Asian double culture and kind personality has been making him a regular choice for media interviews or experts’ panels on the Luxury Tourism topics. He has advised Reed Exhibitions’ “International Luxury Travel Market” in Asia and the Incentive Convention & Event Society Asia-Pacific (now PCMA).

Benoit speaks several languages including French, English, Japanese, Italian and the last few years has been improving his Mandarin in Singapore and in China.

Zhi Heng is Singaporean and a graduate cum laude in Marketing from the prestigious Nanyang Technological University. Zhi Heng has been injecting a fresh and cutting-edge perspective to Horus Development & Consulting since its inception in 2014 and creates innovative marketing solutions for the company.

Both his role and his personal domains of interest have taken him to most of Asia and Europe where he developed his skills and knowledge working in their respective business environment. Zhi Heng is fluent in both English, Mandarin and French. His flair for linguistics and keen eye for creatives and photography are often put to good use in translation work, creating communiques and promotional materials.

Outside of his role, Zhi Heng manifests his passion for writing and for photography into a personal lifestyle blog with the alias - Supersponts.

Choy Teh has had nearly a decade of experience in the travel industry sector, specifically in Public Relations. She previously managed the public relations division for The Travel Corporation family of brands in Asia, and Bannikin, a boutique consulting firm which housed niche and travel adventure brands.

During her past ventures, she successfully cultivated close relationships with media all over the world, specifically within the Asian region. Her work has been featured in The Straits Times, The Business Times, The Star, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Tatler Singapore, Buro 24/7 Singapore, Silverkris, Conde Nast Traveller China, The South China Morning Post, CNBC, BBC Asia and Channel News Asia.

Choy is also an active member of the entertainment and media industry in South East Asia and has had over 17 years of experience working as a TV presenter, actor and Radio DJ, predominantly in Singapore. She is also the founder of Sapta Collective, a social enterprise specialising in providing training and mentorship programmes to hospitality schools in Nepal. She also speaks English, Cantonese, Malay, Indonesian, basic Mandarin and basic Spanish.

Zeno has more than 5 years of experience in the Luxury Travel industry. She worked as a Sales Manager in Shanghai Zhongsheng International travel Co.,Ltd (a.k.a. Super Ocean), then as Purchasing & Product Manager with Shenzhen Qulv International travel Co.,Ltd. A kind and creative personality, Zeno offers her great passion and her energy to the team. She is appreciated by our network of key travel agencies partners all over China for her proactive attitude and her attention to details. She is also recognized for her talent in organizing productive and memorable roadshows in China.

Since 2019, Zeno has been developing the sales and the brand awareness of the Rocco Forte Hotels collection, one of Horus' key accounts in mainland China and in the region.

Since 2022, Zeno actively promotes destination Monaco as the Sales Manager of the Promotion Bureau of the Principality of Monaco in mainland China.

Ratna has more than 10 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry, having worked with the top major tour operators and luxury hotels in India and around the world.

In addition to her experience as a luxury travel agent, Ratna has also worked for major luxury hotel chains, with the likes of Kempinski Hotels and Adaaran Hotels in the Maldives, amongst many others. Ratna possesses a great network and expertise as the main person-in-charge for the North and West India markets.

Ratna is a diligent, hardworking and passionate professional, who is looking forward to expand her role in all of India. Outside of work, she likes to spend her free time with family, enjoys music and travelling and always believes in the doctrine" WHATEVER YOU ARE, BE A GOOD ONE".

Born in the Philippines, Glen is an academic achiever with a deep passion for responsible tourism. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Travel and Tourism Management from Lyceum of the Philippines University. During her studies, she earned gold and silver medals in national and international Destination Marketing Competitions.

Glen joined Horus Development & Consulting as a Marketing Intern in 2021, where she showcased her creativity by spearheading the editing, research, and promotion of the firm's key CSR project, “The Chorus Podcast - Change Leaders,” a series of interviews on sustainability and leadership in travel, tourism, and hospitality.

In 2023, she embarked on a transformative one-year overseas cultural exchange program in Reno, Nevada, which greatly enhanced her international exposure and deepened her understanding of American business cultures in tourism and hospitality. Her travels extended to California, New Jersey and New York, immersing herself in cultural activities, gaining invaluable insights into American traditions and the competitive edge of its tourism industry.

An efficient and intelligent team player, Glen consistently exceeds expectations in all her tasks and responsibilities as a sales and marketing executive.

Sophie is Chinese and graduated with a Degree in French language from Capital Normal University in Beijing, China’s reputed college for foreign languages. She then went to France for further studies at Ecole Normal Supérieur de Lyon and worked in Africa as a Business Manager for several years. From her many years of study and work background, she has developed a well-rounded international perspective in many different industries. Sophie is fluent in Mandarin, French and English.
For several years, Sophie has been the main person-in-charge in promoting the Principality of Monaco on social media platforms in Greater China, including Weibo and WeChat. Sophie is also the writer and curator of all the articles and the posting calendar for the Official Account of Monaco on the WeChat platform. She has seen the followership and readership of Monaco grow tremendously over the last few years and has successfully demonstrated all aspects of Monaco to all Chinese audiences.

David is a highly energetic and multi-lingual professional with 27 years of international experience in tourism strategy and planning, marketing, corporate partnerships, tourism-related sales, cooperation for development and training.

David was appointed by the Department of Tourism of the Government of Catalonia (North-eastern Spain) to set up and execute marketing and communication strategies to position the region of Catalonia / Barcelona as a top-quality and sustainable tourist destination in Asia–Pacific outbound markets (Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, India, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia) but also in Europe (United Kingdom, Ireland, France, The Benelux, Switzerland and Italy).

In addtion, David is the Senior Consultant for Marketing and Strategy Tourism Cooperation for Development in Puerto Mont (Chile) and San Carlos de Bariloche (Argentina): developing a Community-based Tourism Development Project for the Provinces of Chiloé and Palena in the 10th Region of Los Lagos in Chile. This assignment was financed by the Inter-American Bank of Development. Created the Tourism Marketing Plan for EMPROTUR (Mixed Tourism Promotion Entity for San Carlos de Bariloche - Río Negro Province in Argentina) to set up new tourist products.

Soon Hwa has over 40 years of extensive experience in the Asia Pacific travel and tourism industry.

After a long and successful corporate career, he started AsiaChina, helping foreign and local companies in conducting market study, formulating market entry strategy and identifying collaboration partners.

Currently the Immediate Past Chair - Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), he is also the Chairman of PATA Singapore Chapter.

Soon Hwa’s long association with PATA dated back to 1996 and had served in various capacities over the years. Recipient of the PATA Special Award in 2023, PATA Life Member Award in 2018 and PATA Award of Merit in 2008.

He started the Hertz Asia Pacific office in Singapore in 1993. As Vice President – Asia, he built a comprehensive regional network, reinforced Hertz’s position as global market leader. He spent 3 years in Shanghai from 2007 to 2010 and opened the first 100% foreign owned car rental company in China.

After Hertz, as Regional Director – Asia Pacific, he helped Blacklane GmbH established the APAC regional office in Singapore and built a service network covering some 80 cities. Blacklane is a new tech Berlin based professional chauffeur drive service provider offering rides in major airports and cities globally.

Prior to Hertz, he was Regional Manager – South East Asia for Air New Zealand, GM Marketing of Mansfield Travel and Deputy GM Avis Singapore.

A Bachelor of Business Administration graduate of the National University of Singapore, he is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK and an alumnus of the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Adam co-founded Fishermen Integrated in 2012 to be a branding and advertising agency equipped for the age of digital and social media.

He leads the creative side of Fishermen’s offices in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Since its founding, the agency has been winning awards consistently in both countries, notably the Golden Kancil in 2015 and again in 2019 (the grand prix of Malaysia’s premier creative award show), along with numerous Marketing Effectiveness awards in the region.
