Monaco organizes the biggest tourism week in China

On behalf of Monaco Government Tourist Bureau, Horus Development & Consulting, led by Benoit Badufle, successfully held its annual roadshow in 3 cities of China – Shanghai, Nanjing and Beijing. Guests – including journalists, travel agents, corporate clients and VIPs – were excited to know the new promotional strategies by Monaco, including the first-ever “Princes and Princesses of Monaco – A European Dynasty” exhibition held at the Forbidden City in Beijing.

This year’s roadshow welcomed the biggest delegation ever, with partners from DTC, SBM, Fairmont, Columbus, Zoom the Solution, Turkish Airlines and DragonTrail following us through the week-full of events. Following the success of the Monaco Travel Academy on the WeChat platform last year (more than 1300 persons completed the 10 chapters training session on Monaco Tourism environment and offering), VisitMonaco announced the launch of the second season of the e-learning platform in 2018-2019, targeting more consumers in first-tier cities to learn about the Principality and eventually to travel/send customers there.

Additionally, ‘Monaco – A Travel Journal’ Volume 2, produced in English earlier this year, was translated into Chinese Mandarin and printed for all the guests invited to the Monaco week as well as the official events, to know more about the key personnel involved in Monaco’s commitment to sustainability.

A total of 120 high-end travel agents and journalists were invited to the presentations in the 3 cities.
