OYSTERS OF MONTE-CARLO

Brice Cachia and Frederic Rouxeville, both certified biologists, launched their sea products refining enterprise in 2011, with a goal to refine oysters and other fine seafood products in a region where traditional oyster farming is almost inexistent. In a commitment to preserving the environment and support the goals of the HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, STARS’N’BARS launched a dynamic community Ecohub and doubled its efforts to reduce its ‘Carbon FOODprint’ – the environmental cost of farming, processing, transporting, storing, cooking and disposing of the food it serves. Its Ecohub is often utilised as a space to create ecological workshops and children’s workshops to teach them about recycling, clean energy and waste reduction.
